Delivery work in Spain is shifting toward employment. Glovo, the Barcelona-based delivery app, announced in December 2024 that its riders in Spain would become employees, citing legal uncertainty around the freelance model. Cabify drivers in Spain work as collaborators under commercial contracts, either as fleet owners or through fleet providers, and FREENOW connects passengers with taxis. Malt lists freelance professionals, Civitatis sells tours led by local guides, Classgap hosts online tutors, and Jobandtalent places temporary workers. Wallapop, Vinted and Milanuncios cover secondhand sales, while Yescapa, Camplify and Click&Boat let owners rent out campervans and boats. Money is in euros (EUR), and Bizum, launched by Spanish banks in 2016, had 27.6 million active users in 2024. PayPal accounts can receive payments and withdraw to a Spanish bank for free, including instant transfers. Tip: under the EU DAC7 rules, platforms report sellers to the tax authority unless they made fewer than 30 sales of goods and received no more than EUR 2,000 in the year.

Do Wallapop and Vinted report your sales to Hacienda?
