AdSense is Google's ad program for website owners: you add one piece of code, and Google auctions the ad space to advertisers and shows the ads that pay most. Publishers keep 80% of what advertisers pay after the ad platform's fee, about 68% when ads are bought through Google Ads. To join you must be 18 or over (or have a parent apply), own a site with original content and be able to edit its HTML, and the site is reviewed before ads show. Earnings are finalised on the 3rd of each month and paid between the 21st and 26th once your balance reaches $100, after you verify your identity and confirm your address with a PIN mailed at $10.
