What this shows
Every number we have found on what flows through Skillshare, grouped by unit so only like is drawn against like: dollar totals with dollar totals, counts with counts, hourly rates with hourly rates. Each bar is labelled with what it measures. Figures that are not a plain amount (a percentage, a comparison) are listed underneath.
How it is calculated
Figures come from the listing's earnings field, each with its source and as-of date. A value is drawn only when it starts with an amount: K, M and B mean thousand, million and billion; a range ("Rs 110–140/hr") is drawn as a range; a trailing "+" is read as "at least". Each figure is labelled from its own description: anything described as GMV, gross volume, client or buyer spending, or "before fees" is gross spending on the platform, which includes the platform's cut and is not what earners take home. Different currencies and periods are never converted or mixed.

| ~20% of revenue to teachers | Company revenue, not earner pay | Skillshare's teacher help center says approximately 20% of its total subscription revenue goes into the pool that pays teachers, split by each teacher's share of watch time. | 2026 | help.skillshare.com |
