How the game works
The town has 53 districts, one per platform type, with 310 of the best platforms as buildings. Each one uses its real listing data: the fee it keeps, its minimum payout and how fast it pays. 250 of them also check your age, country, equipment, credentials and approval process from their published sign-up rules. Where we haven't verified a rule, the game says “check” instead of guessing.
In-game money only. This is a learning game based on real platform rules, not an earnings promise. Prices, rent, course costs and most gig pay are made-up game values and are labelled as such. Where a listing gives real pay ranges, fee parts, payout holds, minimum payouts per method or instant cash-out fees, the game uses them and marks them “real”. Payout times run faster than real time and are marked as scaled. Random events are fictional.
1. A blank profile
Choose your age, country, education and two or three skills. A degree, a teaching certificate or a driver's licence opens platforms that ask for one. So do country rules.
2. Unlock opportunities
Every locked platform tells you why: “Needs a car: buy one at the shop”, “Not open in your country”, “Invite only: build your reputation”. Some sign-ups are instant. Others wait for a review, set an application test or keep a waitlist.
3. Gigs, fees and payouts
Work arrives the way it does on each kind of platform: delivery offers you accept or decline, job posts you bid on, studies with screeners, package orders, lessons and listings. The real fee parts come off the top, the money waits as pending (with any first-payout hold), then you withdraw it once it reaches the minimum for your payout method. Compare fees with the fee calculator.
4. Bills and growth
Rent, food, insurance and a tax set-aside come out every in-game week, and a weekly summary shows gross against what you actually kept. Grow eight career paths with perks, build reputation on each platform, and spend on gear, courses and a bigger home.
